Week Two

Week Two Recap

Week two in the West Chester Shuffleboard League was all over the place. Throughout the night, division one outplayed division two in the heavy dose of inter-division games. The big winners on the evening were Dave Traverso and Tim Frasca (both 3-1 on the day). While Traverso managed to win his head to head matchup with Frasca 17-8, he suffered a loss at the hands of division foe Todd Kehl 15-7. Kehl also had a strong rebound from last week's 0-4 start by posting a 3-2 record on the evening. In division two, Dave Drinkwater picked up where he left off last week by winning his first two games. However, Drinkwater suffered back to back losses at the hands of John Ditter and Todd Kehl and finished the evening playing .500 shuffleboard. Ditter also posted a 2-2 record on the night and managed to keep pace with his division leader. Finally, the league record book couldn't avoid being broken into yesterday evening. Tim Frasca  and John Ditter both dished out a record tying 6 blocks in a game, while Dave Drinkwater also registered a record tying 17 gutterballs in his hard fought 15-13 winner over division rival Chris Bandoian.
