Week Five

Week Five Recap

Week Five of the West Chester Shuffleboard League saw some rises and some falls. Tim Frasca (12-5 overall) went 2-0 on the evening and overtook the Division One lead with his record-tying 22-1 manhandling of Dave Traverso (11-6 overall). Jason Votta (10-7 overall) also finished undefeated with a 2-0 night of play and he managed to keep pace with Frasca and pull within one game of Traverso for the #3 playoff seed. On the opposite end of the spectrum, Division Two suffered a huge shake-up with former division leader Rob Przekop's (6-10 overall) 0-5 evening. Dave Drinkwater (9-8 overall) posted a 2-1 record and claimed sole possession of first place in the division. Chris Bandoian (6-12 overall) also had a solid evening of play by finishing with a 2-1 record as well. There's only one more week of games before the playoffs and the 4 playoff births are almost set in stone. It will take some mighty heroics for these standings to change.

On a side note, congrats to Tim Frasca on tying a record for most points in a game (22) and Jason Votta for tying the most blocks in a game (8).
