Week Six Recap

Season Two's final week of regular season play was capped off by a few pivotal playoff-deciding contests. Top performers in week six were Dave Traverso (14-6 on the season) who went 3-0 on the evening as well as Jason Votta (12-8 on the season), Tim Frasca (14-6 on the season) and John Ditter (8-12 on the season) who all finished 2-1 on the night. In Division Two action, the playoff hopes of John Ditter and Rob Przekop (7-13 on the season) were shattered after Przekop's unforgettable 16-14 loss to Division Two winner Dave Drinkwater (10-10 on the season). What a game. Tim Frasca began the competition sitting pretty atop Division One with a one game lead over Dave Traverso. However, Jason Votta's strong season finish included a 16-11 triumph over Frasca, giving Traverso the highly coveted Division One title by tie-breaker criteria over Frasca. Therefore, the playoff stage has been set. #1 Seed Dave Traverso will face #4 Seed Jason Votta and #2 Seed Dave Drinkwater takes on #3 Seed Tim Frasca. Playoff action will take place on Tuesday January 15th at 6pm and all are invited to attend.

As for the record books, congrats to Jason Votta on claiming a  new league record for the most blocks in a regular season game (9).
